End User License Agreement

1. Grant

Demoforge grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use Recast on the number of devices included in your purchase: 2 for Personal, 5 seats for Team.

2. Activation

A licence key is bound to the machine on which it is activated. Keys are verified locally by cryptographic signature; the application does not contact our servers to confirm them. Deactivating a machine frees its slot.

3. Ownership

The software is licensed, not sold. Demoforge retains all rights, title and interest in the software, including all intellectual property rights. Your recordings and any content you create remain entirely yours.

4. Output rights

Videos and images you produce with Recast are yours. No watermark is added, and no attribution is required. You may use your output commercially.

5. Third-party components

Recast bundles FFmpeg and other open-source libraries. Their licences are included with the installer and take precedence over this agreement for those components.

6. Termination

This licence terminates if you breach these terms. On termination you must stop using the software and remove it. Sections 3 and 7 survive termination.

7. Warranty and liability

The software is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind. Our total liability under this agreement is limited to the amount you paid for the licence.

8. Export and sanctions

You may not use the software in violation of applicable export control or sanctions laws.

9. Governing law

This agreement is governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Demoforge is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
